Getting your ORI number
FLHSMV doesn’t publish its dealer-license ORI online. Get it from your FLHSMV regional office or your application packet before your appointment.
At your appointment
Bring a valid photo ID and your ORI. We’ll give you a receipt. Attach a copy of it to your license application (form HSMV 86056).
After your appointment
FDLE keeps your criminal history results for only six months, after which you’d need to be fingerprinted again. If you’ve already been fingerprinted for another dealer license, you may not need new prints unless you’ve had a felony conviction since your last renewal.
