Do you need us, or your district?
If you work at a traditional public or charter school, your school district’s personnel office handles your fingerprints. Follow your district’s instructions.
If you teach at a private school with an approved program, aren’t employed in Florida yet, or are applying for athletic coaching, use a LiveScan provider like us with the Bureau of Educator Certification’s ORI.
Your ORI and OCA
The Department of Education publishes ORI EDOEPUBS1 for teacher certification. The OCA field is your Florida DOE number. Your Social Security number is mandatory, and your date of birth must match your certification records.
At your appointment
Bring a valid photo ID, your Florida DOE number, and your Social Security number. Education takes part in the Clearinghouse, so we take a photo along with your prints.
