Getting your ORI number
Contract and grant providers start your screening in the Clearinghouse and give you a Livescan Request Form showing your ORI. Use the ORI on that form.
DJJ state employees and volunteers should get their ORI from DJJ’s Background Screening Unit or their hiring manager.
At your appointment
DJJ asks applicants to bring a driver’s license and Social Security card. We capture your fingerprints and a photo so your result can be shared with other participating agencies.
After your appointment
DJJ’s Background Screening Unit rates the screening and posts the result for the provider who requested it, usually within 5 to 10 business days. Everyone is rescreened every five years.
